Inspiration from the Coast
Much of my inspiration comes from objects or textures I find on the beach: mussels, barnacles, rocks and seaweed. I love the way nature gathers in cracks and crevices and how the sea changes the shape of things over time.
Beaches full of hidden treasures, natural curiosities waiting to be discovered, until the next tide rolls in and washes them away. The very nature of the coastal landscape is change and alteration, I think this is partly why it appeals to me, you never know what you will find, everything is one of a kind and once it's gone, it's gone.
