Made by Hand

In hand with the slow fashion movement and in order to minimise waste, Emma makes most pieces to order. Each piece is made by hand and the description for every jewellery piece provides a guide of the timescale for production.

Within her work Emma aims to use reclaimed and recycled materials wherever possible. The majority of the gold and silver used in the main body of her collections is 100% recycled as standard. Working with recycled precious metals that have already been refined, reduces the need for new precious metal mines, ensuring a commitment to reducing precious metal waste and environmental impact.

"It's a joy to repurpose existing material into something beautiful again". This ethos also something takes priority in Emmas bespoke work, you can find out more about how to commission a bespoke piece here.

Within the workshop

Emma makes it a priority to work with trusted suppliers in order to guarantee that her stones are sourced in a responsible manner and can be traced from reputable mines. Wherever possible Emma aims to use reclaimed stones within her work and as part of her bespoke work.

Within the workshop Emma is working hard to minimise plastic, especially single-use, and reducing and reusing as much unnecessary packaging as possible. All elements of EMMA WYLIE JEWELLERY postal packaging have been chosen carefully and can be recycled or composted.

Branded boxes are supplied for you to safely store your pieces when they are not being worn and each accompanying jewellery box is FSC®-certified and the glue, paper and cardboard are all 100% eco-friendly.
