My latest collection is inspired by wildflowers. I frequently photograph the flowers and plants that make a life for themselves in the coastal areas of Scotland and I'm often amazed by the variety and colour of the species that grow there.
Something I am drawn to is the repetition of shapes and the organisation these flowers tend to display. This is something I've tried to use in the inspiration for my new collection.
Using elements cast in both silver and 9ct yellow gold I experiment with repeating forms to build up larger more complicated shapes, resulting in a range of different pieces. This is a collection I will continue to build on as I continue to experiment with repetition.
