In local British folklore it is believed that only good things, like good luck, can pass through the hole. So to find one is lucky!
The texture on these earrings is inspired by the linear textures found on coastal rocks containing the fossils of sea creatures. Each earring was originally hand carved, the wide surface gives the earrings a nice solid presence while at the same time being light and easy to wear.
